How customer information is handled
Effective 19 July 2026. This notice covers the Own The World Trips customer website and booking workflow.
Information we use
We process contact details, traveler or applicant identity details, trip selections, payment references, and service messages needed to quote, book, support, and account for travel services.
Payment information
Online card entry takes place on the hosted SSLCOMMERZ payment page. Own The World Trips does not request or store raw card numbers or card verification values. Bank-transfer records include only the references you submit for reconciliation.
Travel providers
The information necessary to fulfill a booking may be shared with airlines, hotels, ground operators, visa processing partners, payment providers, and authorities involved in the selected service.
Security and retention
We use access controls, encrypted transport, protected browser cookies, audit records, and limited operational access. Records are retained for service, accounting, dispute, legal, and regulatory obligations, then removed or de-identified according to the applicable retention schedule.
Your choices
You may contact support to request access or correction of customer information, subject to identity verification and records we must retain. Avoid submitting passport scans or payment secrets through ordinary email or checkout messages.
